This article explains how to upload meter readings from several meters, dates, and site all in once into the platform.

Although it is possible to enter readings site by site, you also have the option to import them in bulk in two places:

• In your "Object Administration," located in the "Settings" menu:

• And in the "Index Control," located in the "Settings" menu:

Note: Depending on your platform configuration, the "Index Control" sub-menu may not be available. Don't hesitate to request it if necessary.

Both of these methods will direct you to an Excel file to be filled out and then drag-and-dropped into the provided box:

It is essential to correctly fill out this template. To do so, you will be required to provide the following mandatory information

The code of the meter for which you want to import readings.*

• The value of the index or consumption, depending on the meter's configuration method (use periods for decimal values).*

• The site code of the meter for which you want to import readings.*
The reading date (in text format, as DD/MM/YYYY).

• The index type:

• "reading" for a reading.

• "estimated" for an estimate.

* These three pieces of information are available in the meter's details, found in the system overview :

Additionally, you can include other optional properties:

• An Event Type:

• "change_meter" for a meter change.

• "reset_meter" for a meter reset.

• A number of turns when the "reset_meter" event is selected: On some older meter models, a metal disk rotates to indicate consumption. The number of turns is recorded and transcribed by a system of small 9-digit wheels. This sequence of numbers corresponds to your consumption index.

• An installation and removal index when the "change_meter" event is specified.

• A comment.

Once this file is completed and imported, the readings can be viewed in your system overview by clicking in the "Last Rolling Year" box in the image above:

Note: It is not possible to import indices for a meter configured with entry type = Consumption, and vice versa. Similarly, avoid changing this entry type (e.g., from index to consumption) once multiple bulk imports have been made.
