Meters allow you to enter statements on the platform.

Managing Meters on the N'gage Platform

Meters for each site can be accessed via the Synoptic page. They can be created or modified directly from the Energy System sub-tab or by using your Asset file.

Synoptic Page and Energy System

The Energy System page allows you to visually represent the meters and sensors associated with your site, divided into three categories:

Supplies (Fluids):
The different fluids present on the site.
Transformations: The energy transformations carried out on the site.
Usages:
The final uses of the energy systems.

Meters are represented by circles in the synoptic view, while sensors are symbolized by squares.

Creating and Modifying Meters

When adding a meter via the portal, certain fields are mandatory for successful creation. These fields are highlighted in red on the portal and appear in yellow or blue in the Asset file.

Key Fields to Consider:

Main Meter:

Must be listed under Supplies. For each main meter, a fluid must be created. You can create multiple fluids of the same type (e.g., two Electricity fluids).

PDL Number:
Essential for main meters. It links billing data or manual readings to your meter.

Meter Code: A unique identifier assigned to the meter on the portal.

Unit: The unit must be compatible with the fluid (e.g., cubic meters cannot be used to measure electricity consumption). An incorrect configuration will prevent the meter from being registered. You can verify compatibility on the portal.

Entry Type: This field distinguishes between index meters and consumption meters. Once data is associated with the meter, this field should not be changed.

Stock Meter: Once registered, this field cannot be modified.

Mandatory Entry: Indicates that an index or consumption reading is required for this meter during entries made on the portal or via the mobile app.

Quota:
The sum of quotas for all meters associated with the same Delivery Point must equal 1. Quotas are used on the portal to calculate billing data.

CO₂ Coefficient:
Critical for assessing your energy consumption and corresponding CO₂ emissions. Calculations take into account the historical coefficients to ensure optimal accuracy.

By accurately using these fields, you ensure proper and efficient management of your meters and energy data on the N'gage platform.
