Configure My Commitment

When creating the commitment, I select the category, type, and dates. The "Market" field can only be filled in if the type is "P1 Monitoring."

The configuration window opens, and the following parameters must be completed:

Synoptic Field

The Synoptic field refers to the main equipment associated with this commitment. The dropdown list includes all existing uses in the environment. This equipment is used to determine the indicators' boundaries, so you must ensure that the equipment exists on the site's synoptic chart.

  • Example 1 : My commitment involves the heating equipment because the results need to be bounded during the heating period.

    • I select the "heating" value.

  • I ensure that the use is properly created on the synoptic chart.

  • Example 2: My commitment does not involve any equipment, and no operating period needs to be considered. In this case, I can leave "No value."

Monitoring Period

The monitoring period is the time interval over which the commitment's results will be represented. This period is one year, and the indicators are calculated over this period.

If you activate budget monitoring, it adds a category of indicators. You can define both a contractual target and a budgetary target, obtaining results relative to the contract and the budgetary target.

The costs excluding and including taxes are optional. This is the price of energy in €/MWh, which will be used for incentive calculation if activated later.

Indicator Definitions

P1 Monitoring

For commitments of the "P1 Monitoring - Heat" type, indicators are generated by default:

IndicatorDefinition
q (MWh/m³)Conversion coefficient of hot water to energy, the amount of energy required to heat 1 m³ of water.
DJUUnified Degree Day (climatic severity reference based on geographical location).
DJRActual Degree Day (climatic severity actually measured at the weather station chosen for contract monitoring).
NB (MWh)Contractual target quantity of fuel established for the situation corresponding to DJU.
N’B (MWh)Theoretical value of fuel quantity calculated by adjusting NB based on DJR.
NC (MWh)Actual quantity of fuel consumed for heating.

In addition to these indicators, we also provide indicators related to the financial and energy incentives for the client and the operator (4 indicators).

For other commitments, we create the target and achieved performance by default.

Custom performance indicators can be created in any case. To call the commitment parameters in the performance indicators, type $.

Validity Period

The validity period corresponds to the period over which your indicator will be calculated: it can be the monitoring period, the operating period of the equipment related to the commitment, or the shutdown period. You can also choose to bound this period with the theoretical period of the commitment.
